Such a good friendly show in the loveliest setting. My thanks go to the officers, committee and exhibitors. Overall I found the breed in fairly good shape although I was concerned with certain exhibits with undershot mouths. This is a problem that will not correct itself.


VETERAN DOG  (3 entries, 1 absent) 
1st HASTINGS' HALESBERN JACK FLASH AT LAIGHTCAIRN. At eleven and a half years, a credit to the breed.
Lovely head and eye with correct bite. Super type of coat. Good bone and feet.
2nd HARRISON'S FRISTINES HOPES HERO. Very good body and outline. Would have likeds a stronger rear end.

MINOR PUPPY DOG  (0) 


PUPPY DOG  (1) 
1st DICKSON'S MONALOU DUTCH CONNEXION.  Excellent bone for age. Very good coat.
Pleasing head with correct stop. Need to strengthen on rear end. Pinning in slightly in front.


JUNIOR DOG  (2) 
1st COCHRANE'S JONUS OF COORIEDOON. Rather tall on the leg and straight in stifle.
Good head proportions but would like a better bite. Good type of coat.
2nd WAKELING'S NORALU ICKY THUMP.  This dog could possibly do better with better handling.
A little too much white on chest and wide in front movement. Correct bone and good rear action.


YEARLING DOG  (3, 1) 
1st WAKELING'S NORALU ICKY THUMP.
2nd MAUNDER'S ELNSIDE MAN OF THE MOMENT. Very pleasing head and eye and good type of coat.
Would like a little more depth of chest. Very straight in stifle.


MAIDEN DOG  (2) 
1st AIRD'S DUNROBAN GRANDSON. Very pleasing head and eye with good ears.
Needs to body up more to balance leg length.
2nd WAKELING'S NORALU ICKY THUMP.

NOVICE DOG  (2) 
1st AIRD'S DUNROBAN GRANDSON.
2nd MAUNDER'S ELNSIDE MAN OF THE MOMENT.


GRADUATE DOG  (4) 
1st KING'S ELNSIDE WISHMASTER. Very good body with good chest. Correct head proportions with
good ears. Very good bone and feet . Good rear angulation.
2nd McALLISTER'S TIGERFIK CHOCOLAT ORANGE.  Good eye shape. Good coat and presentation.
Would have liked a firmer topline. Needs to stregthen on the move.
3rd COCHRANE'S JONUS OF COORIEDOON.
Res GRIMES' FORTONPARK SECRET GIFT.


POST GRADUATE DOG  (6, 3) 
1. DICKSON; MONALOU SOLOMONS TRUST Such a good youngster, so very well made. Super head
and eye, correct stop, well placed ears. Correct neck going into good shoulders. Super depth of chest. Very
good body proportions. Good bone and feet. Lovely type of coat. Sound on the move. Reserve Best Dog.
2nd KING'S ELNSIDE WISHMASTER.
3rd GRIMES' FORTONPARK SECRET GIFT.  Pleasing head. Excellent coat and presentation.
Needs to settle on the move. Rather straight in stifle.


LIMIT DOG  (5, 1) 
1st McAULAY'S ELNSIDE NOTHING BUT THE BEST. Very good type of dog with and excellent outline.
Excellent coat and markings. Very sound on the move.
2nd LYNCH & MCNULTY'S WELSHBERN CELTIC VISION FOR BERNHAVEN ShCM.
Very good bone and body covered in good guality coat. Preferred head and eye of winner.
3rd KING'S BERNEMCOURT TORNADO. Excellent type of coat. Good head proportions with correct eye.
Needs to settle on the front moement.
Res SCOTT'S WELSHBERN SUPER TROUPER OF SCOBERN.


OPEN DOG  (6, 3) 
1st ALLAN's WESTMAINS TOPOGEEJO. Loved everything about this lad. Super head and neck.
Correct body with excellent rib, Correct shoulders, bone topline and stifle all producing superb sound
movement. This lad should go on to top honours.Best Dog and Best in Show.
2nd SCOBIE'S CH TORRALBAZ DAZZLEON DAYS. Very pleasing head of good proportions.
Excellent feet. Not moving well on the rear today.
3rd WAKELING'S NORALU ECKY THUMP.

VETERAN BITCH  (4, 1) 
1st GERRARD'S MONALOU PRIM'N'PROPER AT TORRALBAZ. Very lovely bitch all round.
Super breed type. Very good head and eye. Good body and rib. Sound on the move. Best Veteran in Show
2nd WILSON'S GELBBACKLER VITAL STATISTX. Eye a little round which detracted from her
expression. Good body and bone. OK on the move.
3rd HASTINGS' BERNEMCOURT BELVEDERE AT MACANTO. Rather long in muzzle which
spoiled head balance. Weak on pasterns.


MINOR PUPPY BITCH  (2) 
1st GRIMES' FORTONPARK MOL FLANDERS. Just a baby developing so well. Good outline.
Very sound on the move, when she settled. Best Puppy in Show
2nd JEFFRIES' WINDLENELL QUITA. Another pleasing youngster putting everything together well.

PUPPY BITCH  (4) 
1st GRIMES' FORTONPARK MOL FLANDERS.
2nd GERRARD'S MONALOU DUTCH BY DESIGN. Very lovely outline, head and eye.
A picture standing but let herself down on the move.
3rd JEFFRIES' WINDLENELL QUITA.
Res HARRISON'S MEADOWPARK ROYAL SUCCESS.


JUNIOR BITCH  (3, 1) 
1st CUMMING'S CLANQUAICH BHRAIGH. Such a lovely head and expression. Correct eye and ears.
Super outline with good shoulders. Very sound on the move. Must do well as she matures. Reserve Best Bitch
2nd CUMMING'S CLANQUAICH DRUMORE BURN. Another pleasing bitch who was not happy
on the day so let herself down.


YEARLING BITCH  (1) 
1st NOTMAN'S ELNSIDE THE WILD CHILD. Very pleasing bitch with good bone and stifle
producing good rear movement.Rather wide on the front.


MAIDEN BITCH  (1) 
1st HARRISON'S MEADOWPARK ROYAL SUCCESS. Lovely body and outline. Super type of coat.
Very good front and front movement although she does neet to strengthen on the rear movement.

NOVICE BITCH  (3, 2) 
1st HARRISON'S MEADOWPARK ROYAL SUCCESS.


GRADUATE BITCH  (5, 2) 
1st NIELD'S KYLEBURN NIGHT SOUVENIR. Very lovely head and eye giving good expression.
Good type of coat. A little wide on the front and would have liked tighter front feet.
2nd CUMMING'S CLANQUAICH BINNEIN BEAG. Nice well proprotioned girl all round.
Again would have liked better front feet.
3rd ADDISON'S MEADOWPARK DO IT WITH STYLE. Good smaller type who really needs
to sort out her movement back and front.


POST GRADUATE BITCH  (3, 1) 
1st McCORMICK'S TORRALBAZ DIAMOND PRINCESS. Very pleasing head and eye.
Good neck and body. Best mover in this class.
2nd NIELD'S KYLEBURN NIGHT SOUVENIR.


LIMIT BITCH  (6, 3) 
1st GERRARD'S TORRALBAZ DESIGNER DIAMOND. Such a quality bitch all round. So very sound
on the move. Another that must go on to take top honours. Best Bitch and Reserve Best in Show.
2nd McCALLUM'S ANNIES AFRICAN VIOLET AVEC NORALU. Another very lovely bitch all round
but not as sound on the move as first.
3rd McALLISTER'S TORRALBAZ FIRST FOOT.Good bitch with good coat and bone. Needs a stronger topline.
