Firstly may I thank the club for the kind invitation to judge at this show.  As usual, the hospitality was second to none & the atmosphere around the ring supportive & encouraging.  Special thanks to Agnes and George, Stephen & my steward John for all his help.  Many thanks also to my  exhibitors for their entries - and for thir patience in some of the closer classes!  On the whole, exhibits were clean & in good condition with sound temperaments. Movement varied but most managed to give a good account of themselves.

Puppy Dog  (1 entered)
1st Dickson's Monalou Maserati At Geruth.  Good size male, 10 months of age.  Happy, confident lad, handled well.  Dark eye, medium sized blaze which gives a pleasing expression.  Well boned with good rear angulation.  Moved very well for age.  Best Dog Puppy & Best Puppy in Show.

Yearling Dog  (3 entered, 1 absent)
1st King's Elnside Going The Distance.  Well-built dog with excellent bone & good depth of chest.  Masculine head with well-defined stop.  Balanced movement with good reach of stride.  Shown in lovely condition.
2nd Nield's Bernspring Kaiser Hope.19 months' dog with nice dark eye.  Good dentition & correct ear placement.  Movement a little close at rear today.

Maiden Dog  (2, 1)
1st Carty's Floskirk Berneray.  Dark faced dog with rich tan & kind expression. Well defined stop with slightly lighter eye colour. Good depth of chest & angulation ok.

Graduate Dog  (6, 4)

Post Graduate Dog (6, 2)

1st Addison's Torralbaz Lord Of the Manor.  This dog was shown in lovely condition & was well handled. He has a narrower white blaze & good dentition. Good depth of chest & shoulder placement. Reasonable angulation - just moved a little wide at front today.
2nd MacDonald's Torralbaz Clan Chieftain.  Nice dark faced dog, with flat skull. Litter brother to 1. Good bone & deep chest. Just a little reluctant to show his teeth today, but persevere with ringcraft - he’s a very nice lad.
3rd Gall's Sanmarwell A Tric In The Tail ShCM
Res Scobie's Monalou Licence To Thrill

Limit Dog  (8, 2)
1st King's Elnside Wishmaster.  Five year old male with flat skull, good stop & a nice dark eye. A really sturdy dog , with excellent bone & a good depth of chest that shows he could do a days work. Strong in neck with good lay of shoulder. Rear angulation good & shown in fine condition. Can move a little wide in front but the drive from the rear was there. Best Dog, Best Opposite Sex & Reserve Best in Show. 2nd Dickson's Monalou Dutch Connexion To Geruth.  Another lovely dog, very similar to I. Handsome dark face with good stop & defined furrow. Plenty of bone & a good depth of chest. Moved well & kept firm topline on the move. Could easily have changed places with winner - just awaiting re-growth of small patch of fur on top of head from a previous injury which slightly detracted from his otherwise very good looks! Reserve Best Dog.
3rd Macleod's Torralbaz Lord Of the Isles
Res Jefferson's Meadowpark Boysown
VHC Addison's Elnside The Dark Knight

2nd Sawyer's Floskirk Faray.  Slightly bigger girl, narrower in head than 1, but lovely alert expression. Shown in good condition today. Slightly short tail.

Maiden Bitch  (3, 1)

1st Cumming's Noralu Mystical Dream Cum Clanquaich.  Smaller bitch, two & a half years of age. Fine featured with nice head & stop.  Rear angulation is good, slightly down on pasterns.  Moved well with fair amount of drive from rear.
2nd Ashby & Mythew's Clanquaich Retro Spec.  Heavier girl than 1. Attractive face with narrow markings. Good depth of chest. Ran slightly wide at front. A nice girl, she would benefit from having confidence in her handler - perhaps some ring craft training to stop her attention wandering.

1st Davidson's Meadowpark Whispers Shadow.   Striking bitch shown in excellent condition. Well muscled & in good coat. Stood four square with good rear angulation - just ran slightly wide at front today. White reaching slightly higher than pastern.
