(which is only 10 minutes from Alva)

Update 8th August 2011
The class results from our 2011 Championship show held on
Saturday 6th August at Kelso have been added to the
'Kelso 2011'  section - click the button on the left-hand Menu.
Photos and reports from the weekend will be added during the near future.

Update 2nd April 2011:
Our Club Secretary received a letter from the Kennel Club today and the contents are copied below.
Our Club's Code of Ethics has been amended today in accordance with the Kennel Club's instruction.

"I am writing to advise that at its meeting on 15 February 2011 the General Committee
reviewed the Kennel Club Code of Ethics, as per Kennel Club Regulation C2.e.

"The following amendment to Clause 2 of the Code has been made:
'Will agree without reservation that any veterinary surgeon who performs an operation on
any of their dogs which alters the natural conformation of the animal, or who carries out a
caesarean section on a bitch, may report such operations to the Kennel Club.'
[Addition underlined].

"All Kennel Club registered Breed Clubs are required to adopt the Kennel Club Code of
Ethics, in accordance with the above Regulation and therefore we must request that the
amendment is incorporated into your version of the Code as it appears on website or
printed club documents. We would also request that your members are notified of the
change at the earliest convenience.
